Happy New Year 2010!

We had a fun New Year's Eve. We hosted a last minute get together with some other families. The adults played games and ate yummy food while the kids ran around upstairs. We celebrated at 10 pm (New Years Central time) so those families with little kids could get home. Ellie and Caden ended up staying awake til midnight for the 2nd, quieter celebration. By that time most everyone had gone home and we were all exhausted. We spent the next couple days lounging around and playing the Wii (and finally saving Princess Peach :)

School is back in session. The Christmas decorations are down, the house is clean and we are ready for a fresh New Year. Hope it is a great one for everyone.

Christmas Pictures

We had a great Christmas! We received a lot of great gifts. Santa brought Ellie Felicity, an American Girl doll, Caden a stunt psycho remote control car and Transformers and Maxwell a giant Tonka dump truck filled with play dough and accessories. Ellie also got some American Girl books, crafts, and outfits as well as some makeup (for play use only). Caden received Bakugan's, Buzz light year, Knex, and a scooter. Maxwell also got a remote control car, Woody, a quilt, and some hotwheels. We had a great day lounging around and playing all our new Wii games. We received Mario Kart and the New Super Mario Bros in addition to the Toy Story Wii game. All are very fun. We actually ended up spending most of Christmas vacation playing the Wii. Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as much as we did.

Christmas Eve

We were fortunate to be invited over to a friends house for Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful meal and then the kids did a little nativity while we sang and read about the birth of the Savior. It was a great evening to share with family and friends and to remind us what Christmas is all about.
