Ryan is gone, I am feeling better, Max is getting better, and I have finished my book, The Host. Now I have time to blog.
First of all, I loved the book. This is Stephanie Meyer's (author of Twilight Series) new adult book. It thought it was just as good as the others and could not put it down. She really is an amazing writer. She brings her characters to life and you really connect with them.
I'm finally feeling back to normal and the headaches are gone. After all the tests it turned out to be just allergies. I have never had allergies before and my syptoms weren't typical so it was harder to diagnose and rule out other things it could of been. At least now I know that I am totally healthy. I guess I never realized how bad allergies can make you feel and that they can cause sinus infections.
Right after I started feeling better Max came down with the flu. He has been sick since last Thursday. He is getting better but still has a hacking cough which wakes him up several times during the night. He has been really fussy and demanding. I am just SO over all this sickness.
Mother's Day was great. I got beakfast in bed then we went to church, napped, and played my new Guitar Hero III game. I got a PS2, the game and 2 guitars so Ryan and I can play together. Totally fun. Thanks!
I have also been busy sorting things out with the house and potty training Caden. See blogs below for more info.

Big Boy
I have been potty training Caden since the first of May. He is doing great! I was informed today that he doesn't need my help and he can do it all by himself. Not bad for 2 weeks into it. Of course I still have to remind him and he occasionaly has an accident. I do have to say, potty training boys is sooo different from girls. I'm glad I waited til he was almost three.
Disney Photos
We had such a good time. We all still talk about Disneyland and wish we were still there. It would be great to make it a family tradition. Disneyland truly is magical.
Moving?
july 2001: married, moved to orem house (9 mo.)
april 2002: moved to d.c. (12 mo)
april 2003: moved to bend, knoxville house (12 mo)
april 2004: moved next door (3 mo)
july 2004: moved to southwest crossing apt (12 mo)
july 2005: moved to brookside way home (15 mo)
oct 2006: moved back to utah (6 mo)
april 2007: moved back to bend patriot lane (going on 13 mo)
may 2008: do i move again, do i break my track record???
and of course the list goes on long before July 2001. I moved every 6 mo to a year in college, and pretty much every year before that from 3rd grade on (with the exception of the 2 years i spent in Chesapeake my junior and senior year of H.S.) Seriously, something must be wrong with me! It's not like I WANT to move but it always ends up that there is a reason for us to move. And poor Ryan, always lived in the same house til he met me . . . .
So here is the deal: We get back from Disney and our neighbor informs us that while we were gone she got a foreclosure notice on the home she rents. We rent from the same landlords. Our landlord is actually the builder. He could not sell these homes last spring so he rented two of the three out and kept one on the market. The homes haven't sold b/c they just can't get what they owe. They also can't afford to keep the homes. So 2 out of the three are in foreclosure and go to auction in Sept. unless they can come up with some way to "save" them. All 3 homes are identical inside but for some reason she actually owes 50k less on the house we are in. She did some funky reverse mortgage on the others homes, hoping they would sell. My friend was looking to buy a rental and I told her about these homes. So she has in offer in with the bank to do a short sell on this house. The builder agreed to let it go for 50k less that what she owes. Now we are just waiting for the banks acceptance, which takes 3-6 months. Orginally, i thought this was a great idea b/c then i can just rent from my friend and not have to worry about anything. But then I started having second thoughts and started looking around. I really don't want and haven't enjoyed being involved in all this whoo-ha that's been going around with these homes (and believe me there is a lot!) and its risky just waiting to here back from the bank. So Ryan and I decided on another home and were planning on moving out the end of the month. We haven't signed anything on this other house (which is the same kind of deal, on the market, can't sell, friend of a friend, will rent to us until house can sell). We explained to him our intentions - renting for 2-3 more years then buying but he can't guarantee us longer than a years lease. So if we moved to that house then we would most likely have to end of moving again next year. Sooooo to make a very long story shorter we decided to just ride it out with my friend and hope the bank accepts her offer in a timely manner and we can just stay here for as long as we want. Its kind of risky but my friend feels very confident she will get the house and I know the landlord is desperate to get rid of it. So hopefully we won't have to move. In the meantime we are just going to sit tight and wait (and stress :))

A quick update
Sunday, May 4, 2008
Our trip to Disney came and went. It was a lot of fun. More details and pics to come. I did end up sick the first day i got there and in the e.r. by day 3. I had some nasty virus and i still have some nasty virus which has also caused a bacterial infection in my sinuses. I have been on diff. medications to treat it and still not better. Doctor said to call monday and schedule a CT scan and bloodwork if I am still sick. So hopefully i will go in tomorrow and have the results back by tues.
Other than that we will be moving by May 30th. Not by choice. And that is a whole other blog.
Just wanted to give an update b/c everyone is asking why I haven't blogged and if I am feeling better.
