He spent a good half hour opening and closing this drawer.
Max started his Physical Therapy on Wednesday. It will well and the excercises are working. I can already see progress. Today he pratcially got into a sitting postion all on his own from laying tummy down on my leg. Yay! The PT left a roll for Maxwell to practice sitting on and laying on. This should increase his balance. Oh, and his official diagnosis is Dissociation of Maturation: A distinct syndrome of delayed motor development. The articles I read about it were facinating. The "sitting on air" and refusing to stand is the most common sign. Also, scooting on buttocks, stiffening up when you try to move lower body, fluttering hands rapidly, and unusual irratability and frequent temper trantrums. Maxwell displays all of the signs. And yes, my mellow sweet baby is no more. Maxwell has several tantums a day where nothing will soothe him. It gets pretty fustrating for me and him. Hopefully things will progress quickly and he will get back on track.

cute video! Hey, if it works right? I'm glad to hear he's already making progress. It must be such a frustrating process for all of you but hopefully he will continue to progress without too much difficulty. Your'e doing such a great job!
