Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!! We had a great 2008 and wish everyone the best in 2009. We celebrated by having a mexican fiesta for dinner. Ellie came up with a treasure hunt. She made 5 clues and I made the last one and hid the treasure. They opened a clue every half hour until they found the treasure box filled with party poppers, horns and necklaces. We counted down the New Year East Coast time. The kids did a little parade through the house blowing horns, drank sparking juice and had a great time. The adults rocked out on Guitar Hero and visited. Ryan and I were in bed by 11 and couldn't even stay awake to "officially" ring in the new year.
